Comedian and author Colm O’ Regan gave an inciteful and humorous talk inspired by his book Climate Worrier and assistant professor Trish Morgan introduced the students to the opportunities available in combining studies in media with climate issues highlighting the module she devised, Environmental Storytelling.

The students then split into three rooms, where they voted on their peers’ videos, enjoyed snacks, and took part in escape room activities and quizzes. They then used their lunch vouchers in the DCU canteen and returned after lunch for the awards ceremony. Each student received a participation certificate and the award winners were presented with certificates and one4all vouchers.
