The world is facing a climate crisis, and the next decade is crucial for our future. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has made it clear “The choices and actions implemented in this decade will have impacts now and for thousands of years”.

That’s where the  Project comes in!

Supported by the Research Ireland Discover Programme, ClimateTalk is empowering Transition Year (TY) students to become the next generation of climate champions. Our programme is all about making science communication exciting and accessible—teaching students to become skilled storytellers about the issues that matter to them.

In our hands-on workshops, students learn to spot misinformation, think critically about science, and master the art of multimedia creation. They gain confidence in delivering the facts on climate change and learn how to engage and inspire their peers. It’s all about giving them the tools to make a difference!

The programme wraps up with a thrilling showcase and competition, where students proudly present their multimedia creations to their fellow participants and compete for top prizes. Through , we’re not just teaching students—we’re also learning from them and discovering the best ways to connect with a new generation of communicators.

Join us in fostering a future of informed, passionate voices for the climate!
